"Don't ever lose faith in who you are, for that's what makes you different.
Don't try to turn yourself into someone everyone else is, for if that happens, the world is a poorer place."

it's very hard to describe the cacophony of feelings sounding me out right now. one hand i feel high and on top of the world, on the other hand i feel desolate and isolated. independence can be freedom, but can also mean loneliness, and the strain of school is inevitably starting to take it's toll. i actually came to london to set my life in order, but i don't see anything changing in my life. i hear of everyone making plans to return home for the holidays, grand plans for holidays, significant others visiting, large parcels and letters awaiting upon their return.. unfortunately those aren't features of my life now. it simply revolves around the books, the notes, wildy's and the blatant skipping of school.. really happening.
I miss driving. i miss it so much. a non-driver cannot identify with the feeling of being seperated from a steering wheel for so long. i used to be able to make myself feel better by going on long drives and weaving in and out of traffic.. i can't even do that now. not without incurring a cost, maybe more than just material. but why am i pining? there's not even a car back home for me to drive anymore..
it's been a tiring week.. 4 essays due soon.. sigh. back to the books again. what a life..
