"Don't ever lose faith in who you are, for that's what makes you different.
Don't try to turn yourself into someone everyone else is, for if that happens, the world is a poorer place."
- Sept 2005
have you ever disembarked from a 13 hour long journey, all full of anticipation and hope, and full of eagerness to see the people that matter to you, after 9 months away from them, only to feel nothing but bitter disappointment when hardly anyone turned up? it's not as if i didn't tell them i'm coming back, and it's not as if i haven't been telling people that i'm already back... but...
i really wanted to see her.. but she didn't appear at all. shows how little i mean to her. it's been 30 hours since i got back and i haven't heard from her at all, and neither has she even contacted anyone to ask whether i'm back.i refuse to budge this time. i really think i deserve more than this. it really feels like shit, and i really feel like a fool.
i lugged back 4 boxes of krispy kremes, in the hope of being able to share them while meeting up with friends at the airport. i brought all 4 boxes back. and i think, looking at the way things are, i'll just eat them by myself.
i've given up expecting things from people, but is it wrong to ask to feel appreciated, acknowledged, valued and loved? yeah. maybe it's too much to ask. maybe it's really too much to ask.
