A little smile on my face.

After 6 weeks of training, all we had put together was shown on the netball court. the level of opposition was very high this year but we were up to scratch as well. for all the people who asked me, or jibed me, or laughed at me why I wanted to take part in the netball team, this is why. There is little better feeling than watching on as the girls played beautifully in general. sure we lost 3 games, but 1 was kinda expected, and the last one was a very close fight. one player made all the difference for KCL but we scored 8 times. as it is we scored a lot more times than in Notts so the girls have every reason to feel proud.

But the question is, will this team stay together? I really really hope so. it hasn't been easy getting this team together, coming for training, sweating together. I looked into their eyes and i see fire and hunger, wanting to prove themselves. This is a team. they move as one united body and I am convinced that there is something worth playing for.

I'm going to miss the saturday sessions. I really am.
