"Don't ever lose faith in who you are, for that's what makes you different.
Don't try to turn yourself into someone everyone else is, for if that happens, the world is a poorer place."

it's july 3rd. exactly one month since i've been back in Singapore. tomorrow is july 4th. Independence Day for some, judgment day for me. part of me is looking forward to receiving the results, part of me dreads it.
So firstly, whatever i post tomorrow, if i do post anything, will not be a reflection of my results. it may and should be just a one-liner. read as much into it as you wish, but if you do care, don't speculate based on what i type. people have this habit of reading too much into the words i say or do, and it is getting a little tiresome explaining to people what "figure of speech" means.
but i dunno. i suddenly am transported back to the days when i was preparing for the examinations. those recollections fly back into my head so vividly when i want to remember how it felt like approaching my desk to sit for the very first paper, or how i struggled to get the very last words to look like words on the last question of my advanced torts paper.
I think back to those days and i smile. those were good days. they were tiring and painful at times, but still good days. tomorrow will tell me will there be more good days, or will there not be.
But scared and anxious as i am, i have decided that it's no longer up to me.
i've said it before and it continues to be a guiding light for me
" I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress: My God, in Him I will trust." - Psalms 91:2
